Billy Lake Basketball Marathon

October 1, 2022

Join us on Saturday, October 1, 2022 in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Billy Lake Basketball Marathon! The Billy Lake Memorial Basketball Marathon is a great time for the whole family. Come watch great basketball games featuring many elite high school teams. Activities include a silent auction, raffle baskets, face painting, and more.

Billy Lake was a young Havertown father of four who succumbed to ALS in April 1992. Each year, his family and friends organize this marathon to raise money for ALS research and as a tribute to his courage. The Lake-Quinn family has been organizing this memorable marathon to fight ALS for 30 years, making it the longest family-run ALS Association event throughout the entire country.
