The ALS Association South Central PA Region will host its first ALS CEO Soak, a “grown up” version of the Ice Bucket Challenge on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 1:00 pm. To keep participants safe, each “soakee” has chosen to participate either in a socially distant soak at Soldier's and Sailor's Grove at the Pennsylvania State Capitol or a DIY soak at a location of their choosing. The city’s firetruck will be hosing participants as they get soaked. Involvement is not based on your professional title. No matter what company, business, or group you might be a part of, this event is for you.
So far, Speaker of the House, Rep. Bryan Cutler and CGA Law Firm are on board with many other asks out. We hope to raise $25,000, to support ALS patient care, advocacy, and research initiatives. And now, more than ever, our support is needed to help the high-risk ALS community through this challenging time.
